which is very interesting because I found these on windowsills of my home when I moved in, as left by the last owner...this one outside the laundry...
and two brass owls which were sitting there outside my kitchen but knocked off by a squirrel, I've brought them in for this photo shoot...

Those are amazing brass owls! I was also born in December, and have been realizing over the past year or so that I had some kind of owl affinity, so your post made me think, wow, maybe that's why.
sorry they aren't clearer in this pic-not very photogenic! Yes, there's much written online on the Native American Medicine sign the Owl, though I think the book I mention is well worth getting!
