ALL THINGS TURQUOISE
Today I feel like indulging in TURQUOISE. Sometimes you just get that way...right girls?
What is "turquoise." OK, I looked it up - what can I say - I gotta Google!!!
So this is what I came up with according to Wikipedia:
Turquoise is a slightly greenish shade of cyan. The color is based on the gem turquoise. The term comes from the French for "Turkish."
The first recorded use of Turquoise as a color name in English was apparently in 1573!
Turquoise pairs extremely well with pink, red and white, don't you think?
I absolutely love this turquoise Letter Holder! That's my Shabby Chic lamp by Rachel Ashwell to the right...
An irridescent turquoise leaf plate, which serves as a great "catchall."
Detail of the turquoise basket weave handbag on the night stand to the right.
These are so funky that I love using these as a bedroom decorating item!
A gal's gotta have a great Travel Tote, this one is from Buxton and it's indispensible!A baroque paterned vest in upholstery material is used for display and is layered with Victorian ephemera and rhinestone bracelets...
This chartreuse and turquoise satin top is the perfect backdrop for a multi-stranded turquoise choker I made recently. This Venetian mirror with its pink blossoms, goes extremely well with the pink floral motif...
...as does this lotus plant placed in a turquoise glass vase, grouped with other turquoise items...

Hey, I have that same duvet and another one that looks just like it that I guess is from the same collection. Also, those shoes are works of art!
This duvet has become my favorite, Leslieanne. thanks for visiting...
